STR basses

My drummer and guitarist friends got the idea to make an 80's cover band and this is a demo of Seperate Ways by Journey(no vocals). We recorded it last night at the drummer's house...included is the moustache inducing big 80's "pump" bassline in the chorus. The signal path is STR 6 into a Sansamp with the blend knob turned almost all the way to the left so it's very little Sansamp tone into an Avalon 737 into the board. Bass is set flat with the pickup blend dead center and very dead strings.

HI I am Coolspsirt or Cecil as I am known in the music industry and I am a Bassist. I have been playing some sort of musical instrument since the age of 3. I was told that I should check out the STR Basses. I had planned to go to Japan to do so but I would love to get my hands on one in the USA if they are available. I have been playing for 40+ years and though I am legally blind I have been able to "see" the quality in a godd instrument. I currently have a "Tune" 4 string and a customized Ibanez 5 string bass. I am looking for a great 6 and 7 string Bass for studio and live performances.

Hi. Anyone that was there care to comment on the STR Vintage 5 string Trans White that was there. I have been looking at it @ the LowE and seems nice. The bass looks really nice. Or should I just wait and get a Sadowsky.
