I have an old 90s Ken Smith Burner, love it to death. Only thing with it (and keep in mind it is barely noticeable) is this strange pinging sound when I play on only the low b. And just today, I discovered if I pluck at the edge of the pickup close to the bridge, this sound is recreated and extra pronounced. This only seems to happen to the bass side of the pickup that is close tot eh bridge. Anyone else ever have a similar experience with any pickups? This was such a strange thing, I've never seen it before so I am curious.
