Strap for EB-0

I just picked up a new EB-0. I need to get a strap asap. The strap buttons are slightly unique as with everything else with this bass. Do I need to do anything special to make sure it doesn't fall off during a gig (I don't jump around wildly) or is it enough to install a regular strap. Has anybody try to install different strap buttons on the EB-0, like Dunlop straplocks or whatever?

I got the planet waves strap, the one that locks. It has a plastic piece instead of a leather hole, and you can twist it to lock it onto the strap button. That's a nice idea. However, with the weird strap button placement of the Epi EB-0, it does slide off into a weird angle if I'm not holding the fretboard. I guess there's no solution for that. Whatever...

I bought this strap a year ago thinking it was a great deal and made sense. I have just realized that if I bought a better strap I'd have played my bass a lot more.

I couldn't figure out what it was that would make me procrastinate from practicing and even just generally jamming to the stereo. It was the neck dive induced by this piece of **** strap. Worst 25 dollars I've ever spent. If I could get my money back I still wouldn't have all the times I just put the bass down out of frustration lol.

**** that thing I'm getting a real strap and straplocks tomorrow

I use Schaller Strap Locks, but I put the lock facing forward on the strap side that attaches to the Lock-Button at the neck joint.

That way the strap (of your choice) still lays flat on your shoulders and also faces forward.
