straplocks on warwick basses??

Do schaller straplocks not work on warwick basses? Im a big fan of them and i tried putting them on my thumb yesterday. It seems that warwick cuts out little indentions on on the body so their strap buttons so they fit flush to the body, but it makes it really hard to put schallers on there. Is there another kind of strap button that fits better. I run around alot when i play and my strap keeps letting go and its making me mad. Any suggestions?

I tried Dunlops and Schallers. Nothing ever held for very long in any of the Thumbs I owned. You're actually better off just putting a standard strap button in place of the inlaid straplock.

Warwick Flush Mount Straplocks are Dunlops.
