String alignment: Is this normal?

it's even simpler than people are saying:

loosen the bolts one "twist of the wrist" without taking the tension off the neck, push over until the outer strings line up, re-tighten.

you'll get things straight again, plus the string tension will pull the end of the neck down hard onto the body pocket, eliminating any micro-gaps and often improving the tone slightly.

this is one of my routine steps in setting up any bolt-on instrument.
