Guys, this topic will sound a bit g@ish.
Sometimes i feel the strings rougher with in my fingers, and sometimes softer.
Not because they are used or new, im talking about new and same string, i assume its because of the climate..When i have my hands are wet or dry etc.. When the climate is humid or dry..etc
Im wondering, do you know any special "hand cream" good for bass players? so you apply it an hour or so before playing the bass and you get that soft feel?
Or do you use anything in particular?
