Hi I was wondering what strings would be good for getting a good high end that isn't too thin sounding? :bassist: Just for a 4 string

Any new strings will probably work for you. Steel strings are especially bright.

  3. GHS Super Steels. They're bright and slick.

Not pro steels, unless you consider squeak good highs.

    I second that emotion!

  8. DR Hi-Beams, DR Fat Beams or Dean Markeley Blue Steels.

Or even go a step up with the Contact Core Super Steels. They have a little more brightness/clarity than just our standard (which are still quite bright).
