I previously posted this in general bass forum but a member told me to post here:
I do a lot of my own luthier work. I have built an acoustic guitar out of a kit and modified many bases and guitars.
I traded for this Jack Casady and I really like it. I have a set of LaBella low-tension flats that I'm putting on it and I was cleaning this thing up really good but all of a sudden when I'm restringing it the post starts coming loose holding the bridge and pulling up.
See my picture. What kind of glue that I would need to put in the post holder in place?
Obviously it is on the light side of the strings some more attention would be on the opposite post with the heavier strings.
I traded I made in Mexico jazz bass for this and this is in mint condition hardly ever been played. A real beauty! Plays great but the strings were horrible so I traded it to these flats. Please don't mind my busy work bench.
Note: I immediately loosened it all as soon as I took the pictures.
