Double Bass String ID Ben Street

Can anyone identify these strings that Ben Street is using lately? From this video you can see the tailpiece ends quite well; with a blurry screenshot attached. They look like a good gut kind of thing, but don’t look like Gensslers.

anybody know what Strings Ben Street is playing? It looks in the FB video of the Billy Hart Quartet like a Tempera string mount....but is it the Basso? and is there a basso thread?

He was using Genssler BoM early last year, not sure if they carried over to late 2025

Those look like they could be BoM. None of the strings look metallic…though it is hard to tell too much from the photo.

Wrap should have a metal wrapped a and e strings.

Yeah I think you guys are right that they’re BoM. I’ve seen some clips on instagram where the BoMs seem to have black winding at the loop end, but I guess there’s been some different variations on them. thank you all!
