String nut for Fender American Ultra Jazz Bass (4-string)

Hello!

I'm looking for a replacement string nut for a Fender American Ultra Jazz Bass (4-string). The ones out there are for use on American Standard Jazz Bass and other U.S.- and Mexico-made basses with 9.5"-radius fingerboards, but the new American Ultra has a 10-14"-radius fingerboard. Any recommendations on what string nut to buy?

Thanks in advance!

Just get a luthier to make you one. If you purchase a pre-made one it will have to have the slots cut to the proper height to suit your bass anyway.

Thanks, Richard! That's what I'll do. I just got back from Fender and they told me to buy a bone nut blank and bring it to a luthier or to one of their techs at one of their authorized service centers. In case anyone needs to buy a blank, here's a source: Bone Nut Blanks
Cheers!
