I have an older French bass that has a cool dark sound but isn’t particularly loud. Currently have Flexicores and I feel like the sound is nice but needs to bigger and more present. I need more projection, particularly in the upper registers. Any string recommendations?

Flexicore deluxe are brighter, bow well and last a long time
And if you don´t like the high tension of Deluxes you can always try Spirocore 4/4 weichs. They are loud with less tension and they bow very well on dark basses.
