String sets for C Standard?

I am thinking about setting up one of my basses for C standard tuning.
The bass is a peavey g bass. 35" scale. I thought of all my basses this
would be a good platform for C standard.
What set of strings would be good for downtuning that low?
This will be for hardrock/ metal stuff.
FYI: I am a ernie ball cobalt flats kinda guy.

I use DR DDT-55 (55-115) for C standard, but they're round wound only, however,
most of the EB flats, (including 55-110) seem to run lighter on the bottom, so I think they might work for your flats preference.

I use those .110/.090/.075/.055 Ernie Ball Cobalt flats on my 34” fretless tuned BEAD. I like them but I think most players would find them a little too floppy the way I have them set up. I bet they’d feel just right for you in C at 35” if you already know you like them.

D'Addario makes a 50-120 Balanced tension set of XLs that would probably be good. String tension of everything would range between 32.9-34.1 at C standard with a 35" scale according to their string tension calculator.

Any set mades for BEAD would probably work well too.

I had a bass tuned to C Standard with DR-DDT 65-125s. The sound was decent, but the tension was great for C Standard. If you're looking for flatwounds, I would maybe get a custom set of D'Addario Chromes in the gauges you want. You can also use the bottom 4 strings of most 5 string sets.

Check out the band Sleep with the great Al Cisneros on bass and vocals. Their main tuning has been C Standard since around 1990.
