Ok guys & girls I'm a newbie here and seeing things such as string tension/pressure I'm getting a little lost on strings. Also the scale length. Buying guitar strings I didn't see this kinda stuff. Mostly just the gauges. Can I get some help here with this?

String tension, String Pressure

There was just a thread on this recently. Being a newb, I won't bash you over the head for not using the Search feature. 
Unfortunately Scale Length does not always match up with the "Scale Strings" you need...
Its best to know the measurement of your instrument from Ball End to just past the Nut to determine the proper string length.
And as far as gauges and tension, it will all depend on what you think you may like. If you have an idea of what you currently have on your instrument, we can use that as a guide to get you to a sound and feel of what you are looking for!
