string thru vs top load bridge considerations

If I had to choose, I would go string through. I have and play often a heavily modded Squire P which I love and my go-to an ATK 300. The P, has the regular top load BAII bridge. The ATK has string through. I like the way the ATK plays more than the P. I like the way they both play, but if I had to pick one that maybe had better sustain and more of a fuller vibration throughout, it would be the ATK and I believe it is because its through and not top loaded. Having that huge bridge on the ATK helps as well, so that could be a reason why it feels that way, but I think the string through def helps.
