String Width Confusion

I'm looking at some barts to throw in my bass so I checked the page that my bass's specs are listed and found some odd things..

Link Removed

It says the string spacing at the bridge is 21/32" which converts to 16mm roughly (if i did my math right. Bear with me, this is the first time I'll have worked on any form of pickups/electronics).

The series of pickups im looking at has a minimum of a 68mm string spacing.. Am I doing something wrong?

String width ≠ string spacing.

String Spacing is the distance between the strings (well, between the grooves in the bridge). The String width, in the case presented on the bart website, is the spacing of all the strings, the distance between the B and G strings (on a standard B,E,A,D,G tuned, 5 String bass).

16mm spacing between two strings would be 64mm between the 5.

(also, 21/32" would be closer to 17mm, which would give you your 68mm min.)
