Double Bass String Winding Drill Bit

I've owned string winders that are drill bits for changing strings with a cordless drill in the past, but the place I was buying them no longer carries them. (They can break!)

Does anyone know where I can get one? All the bass dealers seem to have them.

I have one that I guess was designed for slab, but works fine on my DB. It has a detachable hand crank but can also be chucked into a drill. Thinking it's made by D'Addario.. will check.

I just bought a Daddario one today off Amazon. Looks like it will work for DB too. I think it was $6.

I use the Dunlop Turbo Tune in my shop, actually several of them!

Its a well made piece. They're permanently chucked into several miniature drivers that are better suited to string winding than my bigger DeWalt screwguns.

That's cool for DB but useless for guitar or mandolin! I'm into versatility.

I just saw a metal device at the hardware store made by ryobi, it is for driving screw eyes and cup hooks etc, but it looks like it would work on bass keys you would probably want to pad the slots to avoid metal to metal contact though.
