Hello, so i was looking at my 5 string bass today and noticed that the G string is not sitting straight. As soon as it gets out of the nut it bends. My B E A strings are tuned so that the string is on the right of the key, my D and G are tuned the opposite (like most basses??) and the G is just incredibly crooked. Can any give me any help with this?

Did you maybe wind the D and G in reverse so it goes around the bottom side of the post instead of the top side?
