Double Bass Strings for bony fingered wife

Full Disclosure: I now play a fully carved bass with 3885 Spirocore Weichs and a plywood Strunal with a full set of Evah Slap Synthetics. The Evah’s are great for slap, pizz and arco practice as well as outdoor work (bluegrass, old time, and/or cover band). They are not as easy to hear as the Spiros for intonation practice but the Evah Slaps are a great set.

Promised to check back. Strug her up some evah slaps. Guage was the same so no filing. Easy change. The all metal orchastra were heavier by weight but no loss of volume. Noticeably less tension and softer on her bony fingers. Rounder sound. Bouncier. $250. Still married. Thanks all.
Thanks for the the update. Sounds like a success story to me. Congrats on the strings and the marriage! :)
