strings for F A# D# G# ?

Hi everybody.
I got in a project that requires F tuning. So I will tune two of my basses like that:

4-string: F - A# - D# - G#
5-string: A# - F - A# - D# - G#

I need opinions on string gauges and right tension for this kind of tuning, cause Im not very experienced.
I use 34" scale basses and I prefer nickels.

Is this tuning up or down? Also, what gauge do you prefer for a standard-tuned E-string?

This looks like a standard tuning half-step up. The strings you presently have on should be OK except you need to tighten your trussrod a little to compensate for the additional string tension.

This looks like a standard tuning half-step up except your "B" string is lowered a half-step down instead of up.

In that case I would get something light like .040 - .090 or .095 for the EADG strings and a .135 or .140 for the Low B.

What strings do you use for standard tuning?

Your best option would be a .136 or .142 for the Bb (or a .145 from any string set).

If you went with Circle K, I'd recommend one of these for the other strings:
.094 .070 .053 .037
.098 .073 .055 .039

Circle K also has Drop Tune sets, so you could grab one of these:
.136 .092 .068 .049 .035
.142 .096 .072 .052 .037
.150 .100 .076 .055 .040 (this would probably be tight on the B string)

i tried the 045 - 095 and 135 for the low-b and i think im gonna keep it. tension is nice as well as playability.
