Just got my son an Ibanez GSRM20 Mikro spec states Neck: GSRM 4 neck 28.60 in. neck NeckType: GSRM 4 28.60 in. Nothing specific on "scale" I sent the specs to juststrings.com and thye informed me to contact Ibanez and after a week they still have not responded.
1) What size string should I get . Would 30" scale "Small Scale" work. Not really 100% sure on the true scale of this bass.
2) This is for my 9yr son and I would like any reccomendations on strings that would be easy for him to play. Looking for something easy on his fingers, not a ton of effort to play and sounds good. He likes rock'n roll. He will be starting lessons shortly.
3) Anyone else who has this bass please chime in on what works well and what did NOT work well for you.
