Strings for Ibanez SRH500F

I have a Breedlove AB with tapes and love the sound. Thinking of trying TI Jazz Flats or put tapes on it. Thoughts? Suggestions?

I tried a set of used TIJFs on my SRH500F, and took them off after about an hour. They felt GREAT, but on that instrument they had too much of that fretless electric growl and detracted from the more acoustic sound I was going for. Roto 88s were too much in the darker, opposite direction, and the E and A strings had a weird chorus effect I hated and couldn't get rid of (wasn't string twist, defective string, or a nut or saddle issue). I settled on Labella DTF as the best of most worlds on this bass.

I love TIJFs on a G&L L1000, but I have resisted putting them on the SRH500F because I suspected they'd provide too much of a good thing on that bass; I'm not chasing an acoustic tone particularly, but I suspect there would be all harmonics and no fundamental with the TIs, and maybe your experience bears this out. I have Labella LTFs on it now, and despite all my best efforts, I can't find an excuse to change them.
