Double Bass Strings for NS Electric Upright

Hello,
For my NS NXT5 low B:
So far I've had the D'Adarrio Contemporaries that came stock; nice sound I thought. Next I had the D'Adarrio Traditionals, which I think I liked a bit better. Next I'm thinking of trying Eva Pirazzi Orchestra Weichs. No particular reason other than I want to keep trying different strings. So far I go two years on a set. I play strictly pizz, though I keep telling myself I will pick up arco. What have you all used and liked? Thanks.

Well I just put on the Eva Pirazzi Weichs. I had to drill out the tuning pegs a little to get the string end to fit into the hole, but no biggie there. Very nice sound on the B E A. To my ear the D is borderline, the G sounds too thin. But certainly a very nice character to the strings overall. Nice Growl, Nice Mwa. Nice bright character, sweet fundamental tone. Although they might sound almost a bit too bass guitar-like on my NXT. I play strictly pizz but I suppose now is a good time to give arco study another shot. I won't get married to them and at almost 400 bucks for the five strings I certainly hope to go another couple years on them. Next change I will try another string or go back to the D'Adarrio Traditionals.
