Strings touching the fretboard

Honestly I'm not quite sure I understand. I assume you mean fret buzz?

The dreaded "Bass Clack", undoubtedly.

Some like it, some don't.

It's generally due to poor technique. Downwardly hitting/pushing the string onto the fret/finger board, then the string doesn't fully vibrate. NOT the same effect as "slap", since the string usually continues to fully vibrate - if it's correctly executed.

Not to be rude, but it sounds like you really don't know how to set up a bass. That's ok. Ignorance is the beginning of wisdom. There's lots of videos on youtube that can show you how, but the best thing you can do is have someone show you. It's fairly simple once you get it but it's easy to screw up.

Seriously??
No, your comment about no Korn was cute. I realize it's probably the language thing. I'm sure your English is much better than my Portuguese. Grasshopper comes from an old American TV show called "Kung Fu".

Your action may not be too low. As stick player said, it could be from hitting the string toward the fret board rather than plucking it parallel to the board. In any case learning to set up your bass is always a good idea. These videos were helpful to me:
