Does anyone know what strings Rocco Palladino is using in this video posted this morning? They sound like flats? I can't see the colour of the wraps, but in this video they're blue... so Chromes, maybe? Thanks!

I saw another video showed head stock better. They look like DR Legends flats. They have the gold wrap.
Good to know this wasn't a case of my vision failing when I didn't see the blue silk the OP was talking about.
This reminds of of a few years ago when the “what color is this dress” thing broke the internet for a few days.

I don't see blue I watched a video not a picture, I'm old so maybe it's my eyes. They don't sound like chromes, if they are those are some well played chromes.
Have you had a chance to see if the blue silk is also at the bridge end?
Blue silk at both ends = either D'A Chromes or Ernie Ball Stainless Steel flats.
Blue silk only at the tuner end = either La Bella 760FM (49-109) or 0760M (52-110).
Can you tell from the videos if Rocco's bass is in standard tuning or possibly in DGCF?
I see purple silks in the still pic, & hear GHS Precision Flats in the video. Whattya think?
Yeah, I'd still like to know as well. They still look purple or blue to me, not gold. I did find another video in which you see the whole bass at around 1:28. Hard to tell if there's silk at both ends. I'm inclined to say no. Do GHS have silk at both ends?
Where the silks line up tells me they're roughly 37" in winding length (ball end to silk). This rules out the GHS Precision Flats, which are only available in "long plus" with 38" winding length.
Maybe Pyramid Flats?

I came into this thread to see if the OP was talking about Pino Palladino or Rocco Prestia. Turns out I was wrong on both counts
