Strobo Tuner Question

I ordered the Turbo Tuner based on the info in this thread, and I must say I'm 100% satisfied with the purchase.

by the way, you'll find equally rabid turbo tuner fandom over on the gear page. (i have 3, one for my workbench, one for my guitar pedalboard, and one for my mandolin/acoustic pedalboard. nothing else will do.)

also, it isn't fair to call the peterson virtual stuff a "hoax", as it's using software to do the same interference pattern strobing that mechanical strobes and the turbo do with direct sound input. the peterson virtuals are still far more accurate than any regular digital tuner, which counts a few cycles, averages out the time between them, and guesses at a resulting pitch.
