I knew this guy who got accepted to a 10 month MBA program at Notre Dame out of college, who got straight A's. He would party until 2am EVERY morning and one time I asked him how he did it.
He said he would just open his backpack when he got home. He came home from class everyday and just did what he had to do each day. Then he would take a nap until about 7 or 8pm, and start the cycle all over again.
He just got it done so it didn't pile up and got stuff out of the way. He is now a successful executive with a big position in a Fortune 500 company and has been there about 15 years or so.
There's always one. I went to college with a guy who would show up at the last second, read somebody else's notes, and then spoil the curve on the final exam in classes like advanced molecular biochemistry and biophysics. He spent most of his time getting into all kinds of trouble, playing rugby, and drinking beer. Last I heard, he went on to medical school and was doing the same thing there. He was completely nuts, but he could get away with it because he was just a whole lot smarter than the rest of us. I can't get away with that, because I'm not smarter than anybody else, unfortunately.
