stupid question

How large is cd art supposed to be? i put together some good art for my latest release at 4.75x9 inches (double sided deal going on) and it was too large. anyone got a clue to the exact size so i can resize this ho and get it out looking better>?

Each panel is 4.75x4.75" but you'll need to add 1/8" bleed all around.. standard 2panel is a 5x5" square cut down.. 4panel is 9.75 x 5" cut down.. see templates..
