A lot of people around here use and like it. Tayste among them. Spankypants made a video about it. I'm not sure if that video is still findable though. Seraching "noisebox" should certainly bring up some info though.

it is really responsive... i can get some pretty sick 303 filter stuff going on with my right hand dynamics...

once i have a chance to really get it together with that pedal and have some cool sounds, i'll post. i tend to find a good setting for each pedal i own and leave it set to that... i feel pretty close to having found my ideal sound for this thing. what is great about it is that it does an even cooler, more 'synth-y' version of what i used to love about my old prunes and custard, but i could never really get the prunes and custard to be punchy enough for my taste/needs... this pedal seems to retain more of the 'intent' of what i play... if that makes any sense... but at the same time it does sort of have a mind of it's own.

anyway, i will drop some sound clips and my settings on you all when i have some time. i am off to sxsw on thursday, so it will probably have to wait until after that.

You should try to check out the Studio Electronics Wolftone Chaos pedal if you were a fan of the P&C. I had them both for a while and the Chaos seemed to fix all of shortcomings of the Prunes. Its voiced more naturally and doesn't need a clean blend to salvage the low end. It has separate controls for drive and intermodulation depth. It has a switch to turn the envelope response of the intermodulation on or off. It has a switch to change whether it modulates the 2nd or 3rd order harmonics. If you're into occilator sync sounds like the noisebox and already use the Moog Lowpass filter you should try to check out the Moog Freqbox. It can nail alot of those sounds and you would have more modulairity for your control voltage interfacing.
