Hi all,
I have come to the realisation that my dream bass would be a Fender/squire PJ setup on a Jazz body. But the problem is I much prefer the P bass neck.
I just like the look & feel of the jazz body better.
Correct me if I'm wrong ,but I don't think there is such a bass made.
Do they exist?

Not that I'm aware of unless you want to pay someone like Mike Lull, Sadowsky or Nordstrand to make one for you, but then you're getting into $3,000 territory. I think your best option would be buying a P/J on a jazz body and fitting a Precision neck to it.

You can buy a MIJ aerodyne n swap out the neck with a P neck, u just need 2 basses n could probably on sell the P with the J neck if it doesn't suit u quite easily. Good luck

This reminds me of a parts-bass project I have tucked away in the back of my mind. It involves making a Classic Vibe Jazz into a P/J by installing a CV-P's pickup and Fender Blacktop Jazz pickguard. Obviously, the new guard would act as the guide for the necessary routing. I did the latter on a project I finished earlier this year, only I used a Mighty Mite body (very light, by the way), a variety of electronics and the neck from a VM Jaguar. (Mad Love for the blocks+painted headstock!)

If I wanted to achieve what the OP is looking for, I'd buy a used CV Jazz, a used CV Precision and a Blacktop pickguard. Cannibalize the P's neck and pickup, have the Jazz body routed appropriately and install the electronics. Then I'd sell the Jazz neck and the Precision body to offset the overall cost.

You want the Reggie Hamilton Standard Jazz bass. The neck is positively chunky for a jazz bass.
