Suggest a good small amp

I've got a small Behringer amp that I've been using for a jazz-swing band I play for, and as a monitor for other gigs. It's gotten road-weary, and it doesn't really have enough bottom for the swing-band (parts are really written for double-bass, which I don't play).

Anyone have a suggestion for an amp that's fairly portable, and has decent bottom end response? I was looking at the SWR LA-10 and LA-12, but don't have any experience with them. Also, I thought I had seen a small Ampeg cube at one point that was probably with a 12" speaker, but can't seem to track it down now.

Any thoughts?

The small Ampeg is a called a BA112. I have one and love it. They can be had for $280 new now.

I liked the sound of the SWR's but went with the Line 6 studio 110. More power and versatility. More portable than the LA12 and sounds great in any room!

I found a Carlsbro Viper 1x115" in Oxfam shop in my home town near London UK.
I have had literature for years and when I turned to their website, they had just gone into administration. The amp is a couple of decades old but was ahead of its time for years. A great Tone range .

Just to close the loop on this discussion, I tried some things last night and ended up buying an Ampeg BA112. Sounds very solid for what I need. I got it for $220 before trade-in, so sounds like I got a decent deal. At any rate, thanks for the responses and the assistance!
