Suggest cheapo iPod/phone speakers

Unless you're looking for a more modern sleek look, I'm sure you could find some old computer speakers all day for under 10 bucks. Or even an old stereo with an aux in jack. Just get a 1/8in. cable and you're all set.

Added benefit is that you can plug in and listen to anything that has a headphone jack instead of it being only for Ipods, not like there is much else now-a-days.

+1 on using old PC speakers. Most already have the 1/8 cable ready to plug in. Just about every other yard sale on a saturday morning has a pair for 50¢ or $1. I've picked up several sets - one for the desk, one by the bed, one portable that can run on batteries. And I'm in for a total of $2.
