Suggestion for using a POD x3 Live when not plugging in to a PA

Any suggestions on what type of powerd speaker i should get to project the sound?

Iv tired a few amps and ran it in to the effect loop but thats really not working the best not getting the volume i need..

Im open to suggestions.

POD X3 Live -> Power Amp -> FULL RANGE Speaker(best choice)

Here it's run(depending on show/use):
POD-->BOSE PAS
POD-->SansAmp RBI-->dbx 166xL-->QSC 2402--->ACME B2's and/or SWR Henry

thats a tad more then I am looking for lol..this is mostly for jamming with a small group.

Anything more will allways have a PA.

and does the bose PAS really work well with bass? I wouldn't think it would get loud enough..
