Suggestions for a looper and drum machine

I was using my GNX4 for looping and pre recorded drum tracks, but has since stopped working, same issue that apparently most GNX4 owners experienced. So that being said, looking for suggestions on a looper (pedal or software), and drum machine software, preferably free, that has stored tracks to choose from. I don't really have the time to lay out a drum track from scratch. Thanks.

Well, Superior Drummer is great but hardly free. I would just do an internet search for top rated free drum programs and try a bunch out.

Beatbuddy is pretty cool for a drum machine if you want on the fly controls.

It has a volume for the drum macine side built within the dsp and i unity gained my inputs so it records the looper at same volume. For the price its a killer pedal and the drum tracks are on par with beat buddy imo. Ommv..

Neither software, nor free.

Love mine, wish I had the Singular Sound looper to go with it.





For simple and cheap, still not software, I use the B1Xon.

I have the Circle Looper and you can't beat it for the price.
My problem is I'm constantly getting an "input clipping" message.I set the looper volume to 0.0dB but I still get the message no matter how low I set it.
