“Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door”? Oh, no. Not only has G’n’R ruined that song forever, it’s just a slow, boring dirge, not a very happy tune. Slow songs/Ballads are more for the ladies in the audience, to feel romantic and slow dance. If you’re playing to an older audience, if you even have an audience at this point in time, the last thing they need to hear is that title, over and over again. Maybe “Tears In Heaven”, another ‘up’ tune, but if you just have to do a slow middle period Dylan song, try something like “Lay Lady Lay” or “Tonight I’ll Be Staying Here With You”. And “Hey Joe”, where a guy murders his woman in a fit of jealousy, and then brags about it? Right, that will put her in the mood.Hey Joe

Dobie Gray, on ‘Drift’We have always had good luck with Poison "Every Rose has its Thorns" and if done correctly "Drift Away" by Daubie Mills (Or go with the 90's Uncle Kracker)
And we are a three piece and pull these off (when we do a four piece show for some weddings we add "Wish you Were Here" Pink Floyd)

Y'all have the vocals for that? That would be a tough one to pull off.
