Nice job! Beautiful bass, and good job on the finish. Reranch is my favorite paint to use, and you are right. Patience and prep work are the key to a good finish. Is that vintage cream, or did you use blonde?
How long did the painting process take including waiting for the Nitro to harden completely?? Did you wet sand the final coat or just polish??
I also used 3M polishing compound when I was finished. Made a HUGE difference. Totally made it a lot more glossier.
FL, to answer your question after the body was painted, I gave the nitro about a month or so to 'harden' before I completed the rest of the bass.

Word of advice: Order WAY more paint than you think you need you will originally need. I was foolish enough to originally order one can of color, and one can of clear from reranch.
In reality I should have bought 2-3 color and 2-3 clear coats.

Lindy Fralin 10% overwound J pickup - sounds incredible.
Warmoth '72 style tort pickguard - Their tort looks really great.

Standard vintage Fender style bridge

Schaller straplocks
Finished in Reranch Vintage White nitro by myself.

It honestly plays and sounds incredible. Very light too. Those Fralin's really THUMP! Loving this bass so far...
