denton57,

I supposed the paint was "easy" to apply. Really, it just requires a lot of patience, sanding, patience, sanding thru, getting really pissed off, re painting, sanding, etc. It's real easy to want to jump the gun and skip a few steps since you are eager to see the final project, but it really shows if you take your time. I've done a lot of real crappy reranch nitro paint jobs in the past. This time I took my time, didn't rush the process and I thought it came out pretty successful. Got some nice gloss going on.

Anyway, I though maybe you would like to see some progress pics.

I'm missing quite a few but here are the ones I got for ya:

After a few coats of grain filler. After this I applied the sand and sealer.

Eventually after lots and lots of wet sanding, the finished turned nice and glossy. Love it.
