I am free from mid July till last week or August.
Are there any summer workshops going on in Europe in that time?
might be a good idea to spend my holiday time.

it is the orchestral forum, so classical

there is a course with Jeff Bradetich in Mittenwald (south Germany) 1 - 6 of August.

its a intense technical course, with 3-4 hours of technique every morning
and masterclasses all afternoon, then bassorchestre/chambermusic in the evening,

You dont have to bring your own bass, because the first day you go to pöllmanns
workshop and try out a ton of basses, and pick your favorite, that you can then
play on the rest of the week.

Sorry -of course classical-didn't look properly! The Rehearsal Orchestra Edinburgh Summer Course is a great week-playing through interesting repertoire with a very good orchestra with time to enjoy the festival in the evening! Here's the link:
