Sunbeams are a sweet string for sure. But for straight ahead rock on the P bass its DR lo-riders for me, a bit more aggressive and tight bottom end; a bit less of the huge lows that I dislike immensely. They age nicely.

I need back to back comparisons like that, playing the same scales/licks each time for my ears to hear the detail.
I bought an American Precision on Monday and I'm trying to determine if I want to change the strings on it or not.
