I plugged my Sunn 1200s into my Berg NV412 today to play around with settings/ tones etc and have come to the conclusion that as much as I love the overdriven second channel, the high switch engaged really is what makes the OD come alive for me.

I really wish the footswitch had the mute on it, and the high switch also. I wonder if a mod is possible? i always have the compressor on, so I would happily give that switch up for another function.

I pretty well only ever use channel 1,not played around with the 2nd channel.And I dislike the bright engaged,mind you that's using only the first channel,and P bass tone/vol full as always.
Might have to dig the 1200 out of the shed and have a play around,you've got me interested.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the high switch on channel 1, but channel 2, gain on 8-9, level set to taste, high switch in, P bass with a pick, Is gritty tone heaven for me.
