Super rant... grrrrr.....

I don't know if this belongs here, but anyway...

briefly said; yesterday after lunch I wanted to hear some music while taking a nap on bed, you know: old guys do these things; so I tried to wear my 2 months old "Extreme Isolation" headphone and as usual I just enlarged a bit to reach my ears and it snapped!!! On both halves!!! Oh, well!!!!! I wrote a spicy letter to Thomann.de; waiting for any answer... 90 euro including s&h... sheeesh....

Hey, I do that too! Especially after some heavy recording on my computer, I'll throw it on my ipod, set it to loop, and listen to it over and over again. Leads to some interesting dreams sometimes too, like one time I dreamed I was at some rundown seedy Mexican bar drinking Tecate at the bar while watching my band and apparently my clone playing up on stage.

Trippy.

ah!!! Right you are: I will comply with this extremely elegant solution!!!!!

EDIT - this is a good customer service! Directly from the Extreme Isolation company:

Hello Mr. Venditti,

We are sorry to hear that this happened to you. We recently experienced premature headband failures, traced back to defective plastic material shipped by a vendor.

The problem has been resolved.
The new headband is incredibly flexible, durable and rugged. It also has "memory" that allows the headband to be stretched or squeezed to fit the personal comfort requirement of the user. There is nothing like it in the industry.

Attached is a video demonstrating the headband being flattened, bent and abused well beyond normal expected use without breaking.
The headband can be replaced in literally seconds with no tools whatsoever.

We shipped replacement headbands to Thomann for any customer that received a defective headband.

If you have not yet heard from Thomann, I will ship you a headband immediately if you provide your shipping address.

Again, we apologize for the inconvenience.

Sincerely,
Direct Sound
