Super sexy Jackson bass on Sweetwater!

Pre-MCI Jackson and Charvel always did basses but they are quite rare and that hockey stick headstock really does not work on bass. I worked for a dealer mid to late 80's and we always ordered a bass at each NAMM they certainly allowed a lot of freedom and options. They did play like a dream and sounded great but were a bit too pricey for most players but always sold.

they are also selling that thing on ebay..good luck with 4500.00
For those who know me here and my take on Jackson stuff ----- I'm not going to troll this thread and debate or defend hockeysticks.

I have a lot of Jacksons here in the house, but I would never, EVER pay 4grand for one unless it was a custom one off made just for me.

The Jackson name has a stigma because of the 80's hair bands, but that looks like a fine bass. The sharkfin inlays are a nice contrast.

The guy who builds these, Mike Shannon, has a history of making some great instruments. But I agree, for $4500 that thing had better be amazing. There's a lot of serious competition in that price range.
