Super thanks to all

I submitted multiple threads about a hollow body. Then multiple threads about a Beatle bass. Next, threads about which one to buy, and then which strings to use........on-and-on.

No one made fun of me, or the time I took to buy a bass. I finally bought a Hofner ignition, and Labella flats.

I am in bass heaven. I love the hollow, woody tone, and I love the fullness of the flats.

So, thanks all for all the advice for someone who took forever to make up their mind.

This forum has so many kind, helpful, and patient pros.

Again, thanks for all the help; you guys are great!

Not to hijack the OP's thread, but I would like to second this thought.

Being mainly a guitar player, I just recently bought a used 2002 MIM Standard Jazz Bass for $300, and had a lot of "noobie" questions about it for the folks here - and lots of TB forum members took the time to answer all my questions, and assure me that I indeed had a good bass on my hands.

So, like the OP, thanks again to all who answered my persistent and many questions - and I'll use this occasion to post the latest pics of my mint '02 MIM Jazz!! (And by the way, I LOVE this bass!)

My cousin's friend's boyfriend's uncle's girlfriend's dad told me this story once about this guy talking about this bass he bought and never posted pictures and it was really an alto ukelele and they found him dead on the gearshifter at the McDonalds around the corner on top of the hill that's at the bottom of the hill near the lake but not near the stream.

Don't end up like that ukelele guy! ;)
