Hi There, I've just purchased a 'Supercity' Bass amp that was extensively repaired by an amp tech in Sheffield England. I think these were made in Amsterdam sometime in the 70s or 80s but I just dont know Like 'London City' (but unrelated I think). Anyway the amp appears to have been a fairly rudimentary Marshall copy. The basic layout was ECC83 x 2, ECC81 x1 (splitter) and 4 X EL34.s in the power section (though I intend running KT88s here). Does anyone have any history of this company as I can find virtually no information on the internet. I dont intend gigging with this amp as I'm unsure of its reliability, but its a nice project.
