Double Bass Superior Bassworks deluxe-should I bow them?

I know it's possible to do it, but would occasional arco playing on these strings cause problems with the strings or the bow hair since they are a nylon construction? I just put a set on as an experiment and had not considered this until afterwards.

I don't see why it would, and Brandon says his textured strings are bowable.

I have used these strings for a while Arco is just fine with them. Use good rosin.
