Supro huntington

Are you looking for one with the piezo?
If not, let me suggest another nice short-scale bass.

I've seen it. What are your thoughts on it?

I was mildly disappointed at first about the piezo implementation. But it’s since grown on me now that I understand it a lot better. An email I got from Supro support explaining the design concept cleared up my misunderstandings. Truth is, it’s actually rather clever what they did with the Huntington I.

Sometimes it best to not overthink things as I’m wont to do.

Build quality is superb. As is the finish. Cool retro round tone thanks to the goldfoil pickup. Definitely has its own vibe going for it. Sounds good played either fingerstyle or with a pick.

Yes I'm 4 hours from NYC and enjoy a road trip. Send pics and info please.
Apologies for not responding sooner. I really don't know if I want to sell this one.

I'll add that mine has a quirk that I'm not going to fix, and its put some other potential buyers off. Its an easy cheap fix, but I like the "problem," and its a unique one :) .

For some reason the tone control on mine, when down to the zero position cuts off all the pickups. My tech guy explained why that's happening, I forgot the reason, but assured me its safe (it won't suddenly get worse) and all I'd have to do is swap out the pot. The reason I won't do that is because with 3 pickups, that silent spot for me is a blessing.

I often find a sweet spot mix between the pickups, but then have no way to easily cut the sound between songs. The tone control allows me to do that without having to change the pickup blend. To do it any other way would require me having to either use a pedal of some sort, or totally redo the pickup blend which is near impossible. There are no center detents on the pots, and well.... yeah....

If this wouldn't be a deal breaker and you're still having a rough time finding one, PM me and I'll take some pix.

It looks exactly like this one, FWIW.

No I think I'll pass. After thinking about it more I'd like the 1 or 2. I've also heard the pots are junk. Well thanks anyways.
Oh yeah... forgot that I replaced the 3 volume pots :) . My memory is for crap, so I don't remember exactly what the change was. Supro sent me the ones to swap. I put in the pots that don't cut off quickly so I'm able to get much more of a blend with the p/ups.
