Surine 5-string Custom

So this is my first bass I'm having built to my specs. It's a Scott Surine 5-string Affinity with a few special details yet to be seen

The neck in the first post's pictures is different from the rest. Is it a different bass, or what gives? Generally, I like the shape, the woods and the headstock, but the name... Affinity? Really? Hasn't heard of the BIG Affinity?

This is like designing a nice Ferrari inspired supercar and naming it the Pinto...

The picture's you are looking at are front and back. The bass has a full cocobolo top, and cocobolo wings on the back. Yup this is my bad-ass pinto that's being built just for me, so I can go ninety miles an hour, yet still be able to find a parking spot downtown=). And no it's not stained yet. It won't be stained. It's getting a full lacquer. No need for stain.

The one unique part about this bass that is yet to be seen is a custom ramp with both bridge and neck pick-up built into a matching cocobolo ramp. The ramp is going to be counter-sunk into the top piece of the body so that it will be fully adjustible without taking away from the aesthetics of the instrument. more pic's to come... brian
