SVT 3 Pro vs. SVT CL tone comparison please.

I was considering selling my svt and moving into a svt3 pro... until i took my jazz up to GC and tried it out. After an hour and a half, I couldn't find a sound I was thrilled with... went home and played the CL again. No comparison CL wins hands down, even at low volumes through a 610hlf. It sounds even better at practice/gig level though, so will continue to haul the tone beast with a smile.

How did the 2x15/410 combo work out??

I just picked up a used "made in the USA" 3 Pro last week super cheap. Ran through the Mosfet bias procedure as explained here on TB and popped in some NOS tubes. I am impressed with the hard hitting bottom and shear volume of this head. I did purchase it very cheap with the intent of fixing it up and selling it at a profit, but find myself looking for a rack bag now to carry this as my primary....it's that nice.
I currently own an SVT VR, PF800, and have owned a 7 Pro, Heritage SVTCL, 1973 SVT, and 1990's SVTCL. The 3 Pro is a diamond in the rough...it needs to be properly biased, good NOS tubes in place, and playing through a Berg CN212 don't hurt either.

In term of power , would a 100 tube be equal to my 500W Aguilar class D?

I've had both at the same time and the answer (assuming a speaker cabinet that can handle some power) is the TH500 is MUCH louder.
With a big Berg cabinet it was clearly louder than an SVT assuming a clean setting on the King.
