hey guys, I recently purchased a new svt 3 head, used it yesterday at my gig yesterday for the first time. Before this I was runnng an Eden preamp pedal with a crown xls 1002 power amp, bridged mono 1100 watts at 4 ohms. My cab is the svt half 410. So I dig the tone of the svt 3 but it felt last night like I really had to crank it to be heard, and I get that I cut the power in half, and then some. My question is, because I now have a tube amp, do I have to have a speaker load on it so as not to cause any damage? Can I just use the preamp out into my power amp? Seems like I should, just want to make sure about the tube thing. Thanks guys!
