Okay, I loaned a buddy my SVT and as soon as he turned it on, the overload indicator came on. For some history, he has the same head and blew it up a week ago. He took both of his cabs, running in stereo mode, to a repair guy and they supposedly checked out fine. Before it blew, it was doing the same thing with the overload indicator. Anybody heard of this before?

Now you have it back home does your amp work with your cabs and cables?.
Did the repair engineer have a heavy Russian accent and used to work at Chernobyl, reactor number four?.
I wondered where that bloke had gone.
I'll go along with Bassmec, sounds to me like a speaker cable is shorting making the amps protection circuit operate. I've seen some horrible speaker cables in my time. One guy spent over a $150 on a guitar cable and then used plastic jacks plugs from Radio Shack and doorbell wire to connect his amp to his cab.
