I’ve had good results with music nomads string cleaner / lubricant. I also try to wash my hands before I play and keep the neck clean.

My first thought was hyperhydrosis. You don't necessarily need a specialist. The first line medicine would be a pill called Robinul. The other thing to try would be certain-dri antiperspirrant. The antiperspirant is over the counter. The pill could be prescribed by your primary doctor.

I get excessive axillary hyperhydrosis, though it got some better over time. The certain-dri worked really well...too well in fact where I could only put it on every 2 or 3 days because I would feel like my skin was too dry.

Fast fret is an absolute must in the humid summer months during outdoor shows when the dew drops at night. This might sound a little weird, but try a little deodorant on your hands, the type that controls wetness. I used to know a drummer that did this, said it really helped with controlling his hands sweating.

I never tried it, but I think it was some sort of spray on that didn't leave any sort of residue.
